Market research and brand messaging

The Network of ELCA Colleges and Universities wanted to better reflect their existing student body and more effectively reach prospective students with their brand. I helped lead market research, conducting conversations with current ELCA students and prospective students through phone interviews and email surveys. Market research-informed messaging and branding were then carried out across new communications materials, including a viewbook and website redesign.

The Imagine Colleges brand captures the essence of what students value and are looking for in their postsecondary experience and aligns with what they hold to be true about Lutheran education. It is also flexible enough to serve as a single value proposition that resonates with all network members, who simultaneously have their own goals and missions.
