Content strategy and brand development
Leaders in the Cannon Falls community came together to develop a local foods initiative. The collective needed brand messaging and a visual identity to build their presence and prepare them for their future. Using the information I gleaned from discussions with local food producers and a SWOT analysis, I helped develop a brand that brings the entities together and allows for easy application as they increase tourism and awareness of the local food scene.

The brand name Cannon Roots and tagline Nourish. Sustain. Grow. serves a collective impact. Brand messaging is based on notions of collaboration, sustainability, and courage. The modern logo is reflective of growth and grounding, playing on the connectivity of local foods and many parts coming together as one.
